TheRelaxingEnd, a well-known YouTuber, evaluated the performance of several mobile games on the iPhone 15 Pro, which commenced sales on September 22, 2023. Those tests showed that games like GTA: San Andreas, eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer, PUBG Mobile, and Call of Duty Mobile ran smoothly on the device. The performance remained excellent even when set to the maximum graphics settings, regardless of the scene. Games like Resident Evil Village and Genshin Impact, which were tested on iPhone 15 Pro Max, demonstrated impressive results as well.
However, when TheRelaxingEnd came to testing Genshin Impact on iPhone 15 Pro, it didn't go as smoothly as one might think. As the YouTuber wrote on the channel: "Not what I expected."

During the test, the iPhone 15 Pro encountered challenges specifically with Genshin Impact. Although the YouTuber launched the game at its highest settings with 60FPS mode, the mobile action-adventure game suffered from noticeable stuttering, even during exploration and battles against small groups of opponents.
The issue could be either due to the A17 Pro quickly undergoing thermal throttling, which reduces performance, or the game itself is not optimized for the latest chip.
