Check out an upcoming boxing game with stylized hand-animated pixel art being developed by Soupmasters.
If you're a fan of classic boxing video games and crave a nostalgic trip back to the arcade gaming era, then look no further than the exciting upcoming title Big Boy Boxing, a single-player boxing/boss rush game being created by an indie development team Soupmasters.
Featuring charming hand-animated pixel art, smooth gameplay, playful humor, and an assortment of special abilities, Big Boy Boxing draws inspiration from the indie gem Cuphead and Nintendo's legendary Punch-Out!! series. In this game, your mission is to take on a unique roster of boxers, each armed with their own unique methods to knock you out, requiring you to pay close attention to their distinctive animations, attack patterns, and timing to emerge victorious.
As you advance through the game, you'll unlock an array of exciting special abilities, including Electric Healing, Dynamite Punch, and Rapid Fists, that might give you the edge you need in the upcoming fights.
Features:
- Play through a Campaign of over 15 unique boss fights!
- Fight the way you want, with customizable perks, abilities, and cosmetic skins.
- Collect all the trophies by completing achievements, mini-games, and more.
- Tons of replay value, rematch powered-up versions of previous bosses.
- Experience the hilariously over-dramatic comedic story featuring the one and only Coach Hank.
