Check out the amazing sushi and gold Charizard card models made by a mysterious creator named Suki.
Today, let's take a look at the incredibly realistic 3D models showcased over the past few days by Suki, a mysterious 3D Artist who appeared seemingly out of nowhere and managed to impress the entire r/Blender community over on Reddit not just once, but twice in less than a week.
The first model showcased by Suki depicted a delicious plate of digital sushi boasting an incredible level of realism, with only the rice giving away the fact that it was a 3D render. Besides the fact that the scene was set up in Blender, the artist didn't provide any information about the working process behind the project, mentioning only that it was inspired by Jess Wiseman's photorealistic art.
Naturally, an in-production render was also included to confirm it wasn't a photo:
Just a few days later, Suki struck again with another stunningly realistic model of a rare Charizard Pokémon card, surrounded by other Pokémon memorabilia to enhance the feeling that it was just a real-life photograph of a lucky fan's desk. Much like the first artwork, the Charizard render quickly climbed to the top of the subreddit, with many commenters applauding the creator for fooling them into thinking the card was real. "I had zero idea I was in r/blender til I checked the comments for a price," one commenter noted, perfectly encapsulating the impression Suki's works leave.
