Teun "Temtor" Torenbeek released a new beginner-friendly guide.
Digital Artist and 3D Character Animator Teun "Temtor" Torenbeek continues helping others to get the hang of character rigging, releasing a new beginner-friendly tutorial on how to set up IK finger rigs in Blender.
In his guide, the artist demonstrated the entire workflow from start to finish, showing how to set up bone constraints correctly, explaining how to make the hand move separately from the fingers, detailing how to make fingers move in various directions, and sharing tons of useful tips on 3D rigging along the way. You can check out the full tutorial attached above or by visiting Temtor's YouTube channel.
Earlier, the creator also shared a detailed step-by-step narrated tutorial that covers topics such as IK arms, legs, the IK/FK switch, eye rigging, and custom bone shapes, providing a default rigging setup for a 3D humanoid model.
And prior to that, Temtor showcased an absolutely mind-blowing Blender-made hood rig set up with 137 hand-placed Bendy Bones (B-Bones).
