Developers of the "Coziest New Release of 2024" are back from their semi-break.
Developers Anastasia Opara and Tomasz Stachowiak are back from their two-month semi-break to continue working on Tiny Glade, a procedural Rust-powered castle-building simulator and the winner of the "Coziest New Release of 2024" category in the Cozy Quest Steam festival.
In their latest blog post, the team revealed plans to expand the game's capabilities with two exciting new features aimed at further enhancing players' ability to customize their relaxing dioramas. The first upgrade is a revamped lighting system that will remove the light count limit, allowing players to create fully lit cities and towns in Tiny Glade.
Secondly, the game will soon include the ability to move the automatically spawned clutter, as demonstrated in the work-in-progress GIF below. "Finally, you will be able to put benches anywhere and end the tyranny of bird nests," Ana shared in the blog post.
These two new features will be included in a single update, alongside some smaller fixes, which the team plans to release around the end of December, just in time for the holidays. You can read the full blog post here and play the game over here.
