In case you missed it
Previous version
tyFlow, a particle simulation plug-in for 3ds Max, got updated to version 1.012, bringing many new features, including more than 20 new operators for procedural terrain generation.
You can simulate erosion effects, generate surface colors procedurally using a layer-based system, and convert 3D meshes into terrain. There is also an option to sculpt terrain interactively.
The software's developer Tyson Ibele included ivy growth intersection options to the Grow operator to generate procedural vegetation, new noise parameters to noise rollouts, and the option in the tyVertexVelocity modifier to display velocity vectors in the viewport.
There is a long list of changes for this version, which you can find here.
