Experience the horrors of Resident Evil in Oculus Quest 2.
A virtual reality version of Resident Evil 4, which was announced earlier this year, got a gameplay trailer that shows all the horrors that await the players this year's Halloween season. The upcoming game adapts the original’s content with the first-person point of view (third-person during cutscenes), re-creating it to take advantage of VR motion controls.
In case you missed the news, on April 15, 2021, Resident Evil 4 VR was announced by Capcom. The new version of the classic horror game will run on Oculus Quest 2 and will use the capabilities of Unreal Engine 4. Many gameplay elements including combat and inventory management will be changed to accommodate VR support. The new version of the game will also include redesigned textures with increased resolution, but the game's original cutscenes and animations will not be altered.
The game will be available on 21 October 2021 at 7 am PT/10 am ET. You can learn more here. Also, don't forget to join our new Reddit page, our new Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we are sharing breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
