Use Your Fallen Enemies' Bodies to Cut Down Trees in This Indie RPG

Have a look at what's new from solo developer ForestWare's upcoming project.

The solo developer of Sword Hero, a physics-based low-poly pixelated game that we covered a year ago, has shared a new hilarious clip showcasing the effect of Strength on throwing things around in their project. Instead of using the giant sword they carry or an axe, the protagonist has decided to use a new tool this time — an enemy’s body — to cut down a tree:

His second try wasn’t that impressive, as the creator only set the strength to 10. In the last throwing, the body became a meat bomb with the strength value set to 100, causing damage to the ground afar when it fell onto it.

If you missed our earlier report, Sword Hero, created by indie developer ForestWare, offers physics-based battles, handcrafted semi-open worlds, countless mysteries, and an epic quest for survival. Its robust movement system will let you explore the world, climb buildings, and navigate underground dungeons. Become stronger by upgrading your gear and unlocking new abilities.

There has been a lot more footage shared in the past year on the game’s official social media account, and we’ve picked up some recent ones that give us a deeper look at the game’s mechanics, features, environments, and more:

The official website of the game will probably tell you everything you want to know about Sword Hero, such as its combat system, enemies, game mechanics, world design, and features like character customization. You are also encouraged to add the game to your wishlist on Steam in order to receive a notification when the game is released in 2025.
