While you're waiting for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, take a look at the first game's early alpha footage uploaded by Wesp5, the creator of the Unofficial Patch for the game.
The videos are low quality and it can be hard to see all the details there, but it still fills you with longing for the good old days. As pointed out by PC Gamer, this seems to be a playthrough with one of the developers at a convention. In the first clip, you meet Cal the bartender and Jeanette Voerman at the strip club Vesuvius instead of The Asylum, and you can spot other changes, as expected from an early build.
The other two alpha videos are of a better quality and paint a more familiar picture. If you want a later version, Wesp5 published some beta footage as well along with old trailers – everything you need for a nostalgia trip before the sequel comes out later this year.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It has a new protagonist, mechanics, and 3 gameplay styles.
