What If Pokémon Had Stylized Classic Disney-Like Art? Now You Know

Awesome work by Modina Time and Lazy.

Pokémon has been criticized for its repetitive nature and games that look like any other in the franchise, especially after Palworld was released, so it's pretty obvious fans want something fresh, like this highly stylized reimagining provided by Modina Time and animated by Lazy, which reminds me of classic Disney cartoons.

Modina Time thought a completely new layout would also look great, and players were quick to recommend similar games, like Beastieball, a turn-based volleyball RPG where you coach a sports team of Beasties – creatures as not inspired by Nintendo's games as Palworld's Pals.

If you'd like to see this black-and-white stylized art in-game, I'd recommend looking at MOUSE, a first-person shooter with a visual style inspired by Disney cartoons from the late 1920s – 1930s era. Admittedly, it doesn't have Pokémon's creatures and gameplay, but you might appreciate it anyway.
