YouTuber Mean Gene Hacks created a very cheap alternative to arcade motion simulators. By using the driving game BeamNG and a homemade galvanic vestibular stimulation device, Gene managed to create a cheap and effective motion sim.
For those who don't know, Galvanic Vestibular Stimulation is the process of sending specific electric messages to a nerve in the ear that maintains balance. By sending the game's data to custom software, which then sent appropriate signals to the homemade GVS device connected to the head, the YouTuber created a cheap tool that can make you feel like your body is moving when it actually is not.
