Attack On Titan - Procedural House
Attack On Titan - Procedural House - Houdini
This project began as a 3-week showcase created using Houdini Engine and Unreal Engine 5, inspired by the architectural style seen in Attack on Titan. The goal was to explore procedural generation techniques while maintaining a visually consistent and detailed environment suitable for real-time game engines.
After the initial phase, I dedicated an additional month to refining and expanding the procedural house generator in Houdini. This allowed for more control over architectural variation, improved structural logic, and better adaptability of the assets across different layouts.
The generator was carefully optimized to produce clean meshes and UVs for efficient real-time rendering.
All assets were integrated into Unreal Engine 5.
Tools Used:
- Houdini (Procedural modeling, asset generation)
- Unreal Engine 5 (Scene assembly, lighting, rendering)
- Substance 3D Painter / Designer (Texturing)

Mortaellis Citadel - Eternal Bloom
Mortaellis Citadel - Eternal Bloom - UE5
This environment project was developed over the course of two months using Blender, Substance 3D Painter and Designer, and Unreal Engine 5.3.
Drawing heavy inspiration from Elden Ring and the Dark Souls series, the design began with references to historic French castles to inform the overall architectural language and mood.
My main focus was to capture a sense of grandeur and decay while maintaining a strong silhouette and composition throughout the scene. I blended hand-crafted assets with procedural materials. Lighting and atmosphere were critical to evoke the intended tone of a forgotten yet enduring world.
All assets were carefully optimized for real-time rendering in UE5, with custom materials and textures developed in Substance tools.
Tools Used:
- Blender (Modeling, UVs)
- Unreal Engine 5.3 (Scene assembly, lighting, rendering)
- Substance 3D Painter / Designer (Texturing, materials)
