A few months ago I saw The Fantasy Castle kit by Leartes Studios on humble bundle it was one that I had seen the trailer for and at the time I was in awe seeing how beautiful the environment was, so I just had to give it a go myself. I also experimented with the new unreal 5.3 displacement terrain with nanite and got into PCG to generate trees in fast iterations.

Shifting Sands

Unreal Marketplace had a great kit "free for the month"(July 2023) for building an environment and so I took the opportunity to create a large environment utilizing "The Bazaar" kit by Meshingun Studio and megascans to create the environment Shifting Sands.

Phantom Fortress

In the month of January, I have been learning to create larger environments. This project was inspired by Dark Souls, Shadow Isle from League of Legends. I utilized both free and paid asset packs from Unreal Marketplace and megascans to kitbash this project to life.

Eternity

This was my second 6 weeks class project for Virtual Environment II at UT Dallas. This project was inspired by the region of Inazuma and its stories from Genshin Impact. For the project, I used Unreal Engine 5 as the main engine to create, build, and render my scene. I utilized Maya as the modeling software. Textures were done in Substance Painter. Scene Shots were edited in Photoshop.

Arcane

This was my first 6 weeks class project for Virtual Environment II at UT Dallas. My goal for this project was to create a realistic environment that utilizes modularity in mind. The assets were modeled in Maya and textured in Substance Painter. The brick walls I used Substance Designer to create a tillable brick texture.
