The Infamous Roman Executioner

I worked on a 3D model concept of an executioner, drawing inspiration from the infamous Roman executioner, Mastro Titta. The goal of this project is to create a Fantasy representation of the executioner's attire and tools, including his black hood, leather apron, and the infamous "Mastro Titta" axe. I am meticulously researching historical documents and reference images to ensure that my model is accurate and authentic. It is both fascinating and challenging to recreate such a notorious figure from history, but I am enjoying the process and look forward to seeing the final result.

The final character will take inspiration from various references found on the web, as well as historical documents and images. Through careful research and analysis, I aim to create an accurate representation of the executioner, while also incorporating my own creative ideas and concepts into the design.

破嵐 万丈 Haran Banjō: Muteki kōjin Daitān 3

He has been fighting meganoids since the 1980s

This is a fan art of Haran Banjo, one of my favourite childhood cartoons and characters.
The model is sculpted in Zbrush, for the cel shading I used bpr filters, which give me more control over the final result, creating the cartoons effect I was looking for.

The Meganoids want to enslave humanity and turn the 'best' specimens into Meganoids. They have developed an astonishing technology with which they have created the Death Machines, a strange sort of spaceship/robot, often equipped with immense hands, which makes Meganoid Commanders capable of transforming themselves into Megaborgs, huge fighting robots.

Countering their plans is Haran Banjo, the son of Professor Sozo, driving the giant transformable robot Daitarn 3.

Liam Gallagher Likeness

I started collecting references Liam Gallagher on the internet. I started with my “default” low poly base mesh, which I modify to suit my needs.
I sculpted in Zbrush until i reached the result I was looking for.
It was very important for me to make these changes at a low level of subdivision, because it’s much easier to get the volumes and proportions right this way.
To work on the smaller details I subdivided the mesh further continuing to subdivide as I worked towards the wrinkles and other fine details.
To me, this is the most efficient workflow and gives me more control over the stages of sculpting. TexturingXYZ used for the skin pores
Working on this character was great fun, and I believe that’s important in order to keep up motivation on a project.

Ancient Warrior

This work started as an improvised sclupt in zbrush. During the early stages, i didn't have a specific idea about the final outcome, but i had a ideal warrior in my mind.
This work was a great experience for me. I like to challenge myself, so for this project i choose to follow a different path.
The concept behind "Ancient Warrior" is a weird combination of Japanese samurai culture and the freedom of improvising, and blending references to achieve what i had in mind.
On a positive note, this type of process is much more creative and instinctive. You can change the idea, testing and experimenting while you make the model, although it is also very dangerous to do because you can throw many hours away

Fist Shocker

The main goal of this project is to create a character with the same feeling as in American comics.
The model was sculpted in Zbrush, where I also created a custom toon shader from the skin shader material. The emissive effect for the screws and the electro pack was done using bpr filters.

Jotaro Kujo - JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

The most important step to start a project is to visualise first in your mind what you are going to design and then collect as many references as possible. Researching references is also a bit of a cliché, but it’s an effective way to push your skills further.
The starting point of this artwork begins with blocking the primary shapes of your elements. When you create a manga's 3d model ,one of the hardest part is to recreate the same feeling of the original draws. You can do that simply by observing the overall composition and extracting those shapes in your mind.
The most important thing when sculpting is to continuously check your work from every possible angle. The end goal of this entire process is to make a real time manga character in Unreal Engine. The tutorial of "ES" it's really good starting point to create a cel shader in UE4, then you can adjust it about your needs.

Mortal Kombat: Scorpion Project

In this project I wanted to try to create an environment entirely in Marmoset, which would recreate the same feeling as one of my favourite fighting games, Mortal Kombat.
I started with a simple sketch for the composition of the scene to which I then included one of the most iconic characters of the videogame, and one of my favourites, Scorpion.
I used several assets provided by the Megascans, optimising the scene as best I could, composing the scene so that all the objects in the scene were visible.
A key component in a fighting game is the ease and usability of finding and using the objects in the scene against your enemy.
As for the animation of the character, after rigging it, I used the animations present on Mixamo.

Pepper Box Revolver

The pepper-box revolver or simply pepperbox (also "pepper-pot", from its resemblance to the household pepper shakers) is a multiple-barrel repeating firearm that has three or more barrels which revolve around a central axis. It mostly appears in the form of a multi-shot handheld firearm. Pepperboxes exist in all ammunition systems: matchlock, wheellock, flintlock, caplock, pinfire, rimfire, and centerfire. While pepperboxes are usually handguns, a few rifle-sized guns were made; Samuel Colt owned a revolving 3-barrel matchlock musket from India, and an 8-barreled pepperbox shotgun was designed but never went into production.
This type of firearm was popular in North America from 1830 until the American Civil War, but the concept was introduced much earlier, in the 15th century

Doomguy, he is known for his iconic green armor and helmet, as well as his impressive arsenal of weapons. The character is a heavily armed and highly skilled space marine who battles against hordes of demons and other monsters from hell.
3D model of Doom's character done using 3ds Max and Maya.
The model was then textured with Substance Painter. Finally, the model was rendered in Marmoset, which allows for high-quality visuals and efficient workflow. Some of the props used in the scene were taken from Megascans by Quixel.
This combination of custom-made and pre-made assets helped to create a well-rounded and visually appealing 3D scene of Doom's character.

Stylized Zelda 360 Environment

Inspired by the timeless masterpiece, The Legend of Zelda.

These two environments were created with the aim of providing players with an immersive and engaging experience inspired by the Zelda universe.

The use of software like 3ds Max, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine 5, along with the implementation of AI. For the construction of the scenes, I used simple geometries created in 3ds Max.

In both the Enchanted Castle of Eldoria and the Temple of the Lost Trials, I opted for a stylized approach by utilizing simpler and more geometrically straightforward shapes. Rather than intricate and detailed objects, I focused on creating visually appealing compositions with clean lines and distinct forms. By utilizing 3ds Max, I was able to create and manipulate these simple geometries efficiently. Through careful consideration of proportions and silhouettes, I ensured that the overall composition of each scene remained visually appealing and cohesive.

Dungeons & Dragons: Mark Shadowshade

I crafted this character using the concept art by Rafael Zanchetin as the foundation for the 3D modeling process. I am grateful to Rafael for his incredible artistic vision, which inspired me to bring this assassin thief to life in the world of Dungeons and Dragons. With tools such as 3ds max Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Marmoset Toolbag 4, I painstakingly worked to faithfully recreate the character, giving him a distinctive appearance.
Mark Shadowshade is a captivating character brought to life through the creative vision of an artwork i discovered a compelling reference online.
Rendered with meticulous detail using tools like Blender, Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Marmoset Toolbag 4, Mark's three-dimensional incarnation is a sight to behold. His design features a distinctive, black-bladed dagger, symbolizing his proficiency in close-quarters combat and the silent art of assassination.

Forgotten Gods

I have recreated the forest entitled "The Forgotten Gods," drawing inspiration from the ancient Roman civilization. For eighty percent of the creative process, I utilized Unreal Engine's PCG (procedural content generator), incorporating both Megascans and assets already available in my personal library. This project served primarily as an experiment to test the new features of Unreal Engine 5, marking my return to the world of environment design after a period of hiatus. To finalize the composition of the final scene, I successfully employed Davinci Resolve. I am delighted to share the outcome of this exciting and rewarding endeavor.

Lords of the Rings: Gollum

I decided to recreate this 3D model of Gollum, during these Christmas holidays, using ZBrush, Maya, Substance Painter, and Arnold.

The model is not a faithful and identical reproduction, but it captures some fundamental and typical features of the character from one of the sagas I have loved the most.
