Space complex rest room | UE5 Environment

This is the conclusion of two months of hard work, learning about decal techniques, trimsheet workflows, material creation inside unreal engine and a bunch of workflows widely used in the game and inmersive industry.

Another sci-fi corridor ... | UE4.26 Environment

In this project I applied the common trimsheet decal technique used in many games like star citizen. to create rough variations in the assets I created a procedural material inside Unreal Engine, and scratch details were made using decals. The puddles and water dropples were made following some tutorials (Ben Cloward, Priester, etc).  Many thanks to Joe Félix for the amazing info decals, that I used in one of my trims, the trimsheet was highly inspired of the Trim Sheet Tutorial and BreakDown by Shawnell Priester.

Temple ruins | UE5 Environment


After having a few practice creating environments using blender , I decided it was time for jump to a most ambicious project using other powerfull softwares that I always want to take a look; in this case Zbrush, Substance Designer, marmoset and of course Unreal Engine 5 . This time making almost everything from scratch with the exception of the foliage, particles and some megascans. I spend aprox. a month to complete this environment, this time learning in the way. I learned from a lot of courses, meetings, master classes and of course chating around the wonderfull CG discord communities. I used tiling materials some of those made in substance designer, others using quixel and some very basic shaders in unreal. The lighting it's completly dynamic using LUMEN, and it was the most difficult but funny part of the creation, This was my first time ever doing a environment in UE.

SCIFI Hangar  | UE 4.26 Environment

This project had a collaboration of a great artist; Lobo (https://www.artstation.com/lobo3dworld), he made the vehicles on the scene. 

 

The models were created inside blender, some props have unique texture sets, those were created in Substance Painter. The render in this preview was done inside Unreal Engine 4.26. Like always the lighting was a challenge but I believe that I made a good work.

Gears Of War - Fan art | Blender Environment (Octane Render)

This is my first step on environment design like a self learner artist. I remade the iconic first level of Gears of War. The project was fully made by me. This project is special to me because it's my first step on environment design like a self learner artist, I applied some concepts and ideas that I've recolected during a month, talking with high level artists, seeying a bunch of tutorials of quixel environment desing and of course talking with the artist community of different discord servers. This is the result of a month (Approx.) of fully work.
