My current work is with RiVR. RiVR is a company that creates bespoke VR training courses for Police, Fire and the NHS as well as many others. We also create AR experiences, building innovative and exciting new ways for members of teh public to engage with the content of our clients, who include the Royal Ballet in Birmingham.
In my time at RiVR I have been responsible for asset creation, including building models from scratch, but mainly retopologising, optimising and texturing photogrammetry scans. I have developed assets for VR and AR and have also created Snapchat filters. I've worked on multiple projects for VR for Police and Fire. In the AR space, I was fortunate enough to work on the Royal Ballet's Nutcracker AR Experience that can be viewed on their website. The models there were prepared and textured by myself and formatted for both GLB and USDZ formats. I also worked on AR experiences for Warwick Museum and St Mary's church, including particle effects for a fire animation.
I am available for Freelance opportunities, I have been active in smaller groups and some of the models in my portfolio were made for them. My fuill portfolio can be viewed at mattmckenna.artstation.com
Please get in touch if you think I can be of benefit to your project, whether you want to outsource a tricky model, have an additional pair of hands to assist your project, or if you are looking to add some AR flair to a project or your company, I think I could be of real use.
