Plaza de Toros – Environment Breakdown
Concept & Blockout
The idea was to create a bullfighting arena in ruins, abandoned to time and the elements. I started with a simple blockout to define proportions and composition, ensuring the scene had good visual readability. The main concept was the bullfighting Arena in Sevilla, Spain.

Assets & Photogrammetry
To maintain realism and detail, I combined photogrammetry with models created from scratch. I replaced the blockout pieces with more detailed and optimized assets, balancing quality and performance.

Deterioration & Set Dressing
I broke and damaged the structures to simulate natural decay: cracks in the walls, invasive vegetation, and debris. Set dressing was essential for adding storytelling elements: broken seats, scattered rubble, and signs of wear.

Lighting & Atmosphere
The lighting was designed to emphasize desolation, with soft, diffused light. I added volumetric fog and puddles to enhance depth and suggest a damp, neglected environment.

Finalization
After the final post-processing pass and correcting lighting, I balanced colors and contrast to achieve a cinematic look. The result is an immersive environment that tells a story without words.
