Samuel Pinnex 

I'm Samuel Pinnex. I'm a 3D Environment Artist, Producer, and Adjunct Professor at East Tennessee State University. I've earned a Master's of Fine Arts in Digital Media as well as a Bachelor's of Science in Digital Media. My environment art has also been exhibited with organizations such as Create Appalachia.

3D Environment Art

My focus throughout my academic and artistic career has been 3D environment art. Whether it be stylized or realistic, I love an environment that can grip the viewer visually and emotionally.

Producer

I worked Producer and Graduate Assistant (GA) for the past three years for East Tennessee State University and East Tennessee Children's Hospital (ETCH) as part of a partnership between the two organizations. I led teams of students in developing medical and educational games/simulations for the nurses and staff at ETCH. Before my departure in Fall 2025, we had developed five unique products for the hospital with two being developed in Virtual Reality (VR).
