This year the conference will host talks, panel discussions, and interviews with game developers around the world. GDoCExpo's Steam event, Gradient Convergence, will also feature game demos and discounts. You may find the full list of participating games here.
The 2022 Game Devs of Color Expo will kick off September 15 at 12 PM EDT with GDoCExpo Direct, a broadcast of new game announcements from creators of color, on the GDoCExpo YouTube channel. The event will culminate with the Game Devs of Color Expo award ceremony, where at least $90,000 in development grants will be awarded. One NY-based developer of color will each win the $15,000 Made in NY Grant. Three developers of color will win the Game Devs of Color Expo Grant, receiving $25,000 each.
