3D Artist Showed Custom Modeling Software with Unique Blocks & Tools
KenneyNL shared a glimpse of the new toolset.
Kenney "KenneyNL" Vleugels, a renowned asset creator and game developer, shared an early look at the custom upcoming software for modeling, Kenney Creator.
According to the artist, the toolset is intended for indie creators and will feature multiple blocks and tools to build models of any kind. The release is planned for Q1 2026. By what we can see in the video, the program features intuitive UI and nice pre-made assets that you can combine for creating a neat and detailed 3D model.
KenneyNL also shared that the program will be an offline app, requiring no subscription and offering a free DRM-free version. All included content will be authentic, with no generative AI features. In addition, the program will feature free updates and full compatibility with all game engines.
