Not so long ago, internal documents revealed that one million PlayStation users play Call of Duty exclusively, no other games allowed. A Reddit user called jagrbomb shared the profile of one of these people – their 65-year-old father-in-law, who has played Call of Duty: World at War for 15 years and accumulated some nice stats.
This veteran has spent 293.5 days playing and secured 498,768 kills while dying only 294,385 times. Other Redditors calculated that he scored 91 kills a day all these years – very impressive.
This is not a unique case of a person playing games zealously as an adult: other users shared their stories, too. One Redditor's dad has a similar obsession with Battlefield: Bad Company 2, while another's 51-year-old wife has been playing Civilization II on their PlayStation 1 every day for the past 25 years.
Last year, we talked about someone's mom becoming an alchemist in Skyrim.
Whatever the age, this dedication to video games is amazing. Do you have people like this around?
