8th Wall Launches the Ultimate Mini Golf Game Jam with a $10,000 Prize Pool

Ready to build your own outrageous mini golf course and win a piece of $10,000? This August, 8th Wall invites developers, creators, and students to take part in the Ultimate Mini Golf Game Jam, a fast-paced, wildly fun challenge where your creativity is the only limit.

8th Wall Studio is a web-native, AI-powered 3D development platform that enables developers to build immersive XR and real-time 3D experiences. With a powerful visual editor, AI tooling, and live testing, teams can prototype and deploy to any screen, mobile, desktop, or headset, in minutes. Designed for speed, scale, and flexibility, Studio redefines how immersive content is built and delivered.

Think powerful game engine meets the collaboration and speed of the browser. And that's exactly why this game jam is different.

Instead of starting from scratch, participants get a fully loaded template - everything you need to start building your own mini golf project right away:

  • Pre-built template + sample assets

  • Live workshops & technical office hours

  • Creative prompts to fuel your build

  • 1:1 support & real-time feedback via Discord

  • Fast, bite-sized scope - great for first-timers and veterans alike
