A Bioshok Fan Created an Underwater Home for Hamsters

Meet Hampture: an underwater Bioshock-inspired city for hamsters.

Even though Alex Beyman has been into making underwater hamster housing for a while now, he gained a huge flow of new viewers and fans after leaving a comment in response to a Vox article. In this response, he claimed that no one would take his underwater hamsters and attached a photo of a Bioshock-looking underwater house with neon lights and Plasmid dispensers.

As it turned out, Alex has been trying to build an underwater utopia for hamsters for almost a decade now. The so-called "Hampture" currently consists of 2 sealed rooms connected by a pipe, however, according to the builder's Twitter, he plans to make it bigger and to add more rooms.

"One day I awoke with the inexplicable desire to build underwater hamster cities," Beyman writes on his Patreon. "But underwater living space is expensive, even when scaled down, so I've had to start small. With sufficient funding, the habitats will become larger and more elaborate."

You can learn more about Hamture by visiting Alex Beyman's Twitter account and even check out the live feed via Twitch. Also don't forget to join our new Telegram channel, our Discord, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we are sharing breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
