A New AI-Powered Blender Add-On for Creating Seamless Textures

Developer Carson Katri has released a brand new add-on that adds Stable Diffusion into Blender's shader editor. Meet Dream Textures, a new plug-in that allows you to create textures, concept art, background assets, and more with a simple text prompt directly in Blender.

With this add-on, you can quickly create variations on an existing texture, experiment with AI image generation, and run the models on your machine to iterate without slowdowns. What's more, with Dream Textures, you can also create seamless tileable textures using the Seamless option provided by the add-on.

In the future, the developer also plans to add the capability to create image map types and AI-based upscaling and face fixing with ESRGAN and GFPGAN. You can learn more about Dream Textures and download it here.
