A New Collection of Original Paintings Made for LDR's Jibaro

Alberto Mielgo shared one more behind-the-scenes look at the episode.

Writer and Director of Love, Death+Robots' Jibaro Alberto Mielgo has recently provided yet another behind-the-scenes look at the episode. This time, the creator revealed a small collection of beautiful original paintings made for the episode by Alberto himself, commenting that these were created to set Jibaro's tone and style, as well as because of the artist's personal passion for painting. The newly-released shots demonstrate the early versions of the Golden Woman’s lake, waterfall and river shots, and even the first-ever artwork made for Jibaro.

Back in early August, the artist also released a four-minute-long video that demonstrated the animated storyboard behind Jibaro, showing how each shot of the episode had been planned and turned into 3D animation.

And before that, the author had released a series of character designs made for the show. The designs depicted the main characters of the episode, as well as four soldiers, and revealed all of their names, except for the Golden Woman.
