A New Look at Mass Effect Legendary Edition
The enhanced trilogy launches on May 14.
EA revealed that Mass Effect Legendary Edition, the upcoming collection including remastered versions of all three original Mass Effect games, will be released worldwide on May 14 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The collection will also be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S through backwards compatibility.
The Legendary Edition will feature all add-ons: weapon and armor packs, plus all story DLCs. All content will now support HDR and up to 4K resolution.
The team also promises to deliver enhanced character models and lighting, higher-resolution textures and shaders, new visual effects, better shadows, better volumetrics and depth-of-field. The company also noted that that the updated trilogy will have faster load times on next-gen consoles and PC, plus players can use 21:9 widescreen support and native controller support.
The team added an updated UI and HUD, smarter AI, plus a number of other quality of life upgrades. Don't forget to join our new Telegram channel, our Discord, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we are sharing breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
