A New Zombie Game Will Let You Import City Data From The Real World

Import data from the real world and rebuild your own city after the zombie apocalypse in a game called Infection Free Zone.

Check out an upcoming RTS game revolving around a zombie apocalypse that's titled Infection Free Zone. Sounds like a typical base-building game but there's a twist that might get you interested. You can build a base in your own city as the game allows you to import geographical map data from the real world. What would your hometown look like if it got infected by zombies? Here's a chance to find out.

The game will offer you to manage a survivor team, set up different squads, and do the usual base-building business, including scavenging for supplies and building materials, plus crafting walls, factories, and other structures to rebuild the world.

There's a demo you can try right now which lets players choose from a set of real-world places like Paris and other well-known locations. The development team states the final version will let you choose any real city you like. The team is also working on a prologue version, an extended demo that will take about an hour to finish.
Basically, the game sounds similar to other base-building games you might have played, but this new feature with real-world data provides a new level of flexibility and freedom. Do you think the team will actually give the ability to choose any city?
