A Sneak Peek At ZBrush 2021
The next ZBrush update is going to be huge.
Pixologic shared a sneak peek at ZBrush 2021, the next big update to the industry's leading sculpting software. The new version will be all about cloth sculpting and dynamics-based features, plus updates to instancing workflow.
The new cloth features will definitely change artists' lives. There's the MicroPoly feature, for example, which will allow users to apply the structure of different fabrics and ornaments. There's also a new cloth dynamics system supporting gravity and collisions.
It appears that the new features are mostly meant for creating clothes for static characters rather than setting up something dynamic.
