The update comes with the integration of OpenColorIO and support for ACES color management.
Adobe has announced the release of After Effects 23.2, an updated version of its visual effects, motion graphics, and compositing application, integrating OpenColorIO (OCIO) into the application and adding support for ACES color management, the industry standard for managing color throughout the production of movies and television series.
Thanks to the new update, the ACES workflow in AE has been drastically simplified, enabling you to work natively in ACES within After Effects and making After Effects compatible with the widely-used standard for managing color.
Additionally, the beta build of AE has also been updated, with Adobe adding the Properties Panel feature for the Text layers. The new feature allows for a much quicker way of editing all the properties from the Character and Paragraph panels for your selected layer.
