AeonX S0L's Early R&D Tests Unveiled
Infinite-Realities has shared a collection of demos providing a closer look at their head motion scanning system.
Infinite-Realities, a software development team known to many for producing top-of-the-line motion scanning systems and digital humans, has recently shared a series of incredible demos providing a behind-the-scenes look at AeonX: S0L, the company's robust photometric and head motion scanning system.
With this collection of demos, the team showcased early tracking and wrapping R&D tests they conducted during the development, noting that the system was combined with Reality Capture, Wrap4D from R3DS and Mush3D, which was used for wrinkle and fat simulation.
"IR’s AeonX head motion scanning system called S0L was designed and built from the ground up utilizing Ximea’s machine vision cameras featuring the high quality Sony Pregius sensors. Our cameras are global shutter, gen locked, strobe synced (with zero motion blur) and can record at 60fps," comments the team. "We have the ability to scan seated subjects in a full 360-degree camera arrangement utilizing 60x machine vision cameras, as well as illuminating the subjects with 360-degree cross-polarized global illumination lighting array from 160x LED’s supplied by IDA-Tronic. The camera data is streamed RAW directly to NVME bifurcated storage arrays at very high speeds."
