Alita Breakdown by Weta Digital

Alita is a fully digital lead actress led by a performance from Rosa Salazar and stunning work from Weta Digital. The team used new facial animation techniques to help Robert Rodriquez realize Alita with high-quality detail. 

It was recently announced that Alita: Battle Angel will return to big screens and the Weta Digital team decided to show how they created this digital character. The making-of video shows how they use the performance of Rosa Salazar and translated all the emotional nuances of a human into a CG character.
