Articy:Draft 3.2 Brings New Features for Interactive Storytelling

The update adds "Favourites", a Multi Assign feature, autosave, and more.

The narrative design tool that helps create and keep track of storylines articy:draft got an update adding new features for faster and more productive interactive storytelling.

articy:draft 3.2 adds a "Favourites" folder for faster access to the most used Objects. You can also add folders as favorites from the articy:draft Navigator, the Flow, or the Content browser.

The new Multi Assign feature makes speaker iterations easier. It's helpful when you've changed your mind about who says what and need to reassign multiple dialogue nodes.

To speed up game writing, Articy Software adds Quick Create, which allows you to create new dialogue fragments with both speakers and template already assigned and useful combinations based on your current flow content displayed as suggestions.

The update also offers you to import templates from one of your existing projects to save time. Additionally, you can now check the range, increase and decrease values of properties with shorter scripting statements.

Another small but very useful upgrade is the Autosave option. It triggers automatically every 15 minutes after opening the project or the last save and can be disabled if you don't need it.

Other changes include Unity and Unreal integrations that help transport the content to the engine. A .JSON export is also available for other engines.

articy:draft 3's tools for game writing, planning, and content management are available for €6.99 (about $7) per month or € 99.98 ($101) for a perpetual license for one user.
