Artificial Core, the Amsterdam-based developer and publisher of Corepunk, with additional locations in Kyiv and Athens, is actively seeking a talented and motivated Senior World Designer. The position involves the creation of captivating and immersive environments for an extensive player community. It requires a deep passion for the profession and the ability to infuse vitality and dynamism into the virtual world of the game.
Responsibilities
- Creating high-quality game environments and improving existing ones
- Close collaboration with various teams (Game Designers, Narrative Designers, Software Programmers, Artists)
Requirements
- A portfolio demonstrating several environments you created
- Prior experience working as a Level Designer, Level Decorator
- Experience working with game editors and game design tools, such as Unity, Unreal Engine, CryEngine
- Ability to quickly prototype and blockout levels
- Iterating on LD from the first blockout to its final stage
- Close cooperation with both gameplay and environment teams
- Creative yet analytical mind and thinking out of the box skills
- Organized, responsible, friendly person
- Never-ending thirst for knowledge
Will be a plus
- At least one released project
- Knowledge of 3D modeling tools
- Artistic soul
- English proficiency
