Autodesk Launches Mudbox 2024
The release comes with a few minor updates and a new macOS installer.
Alongside MotionBuilder 2024, Autodesk has also shipped Mudbox 2024, a small update to its 3D sculpting and painting tool. The updated version of the software brings a few minor improvements, which were not listed in the release notes, as well as a new macOS installer, enabling the program to run on both Intel and Apple Silicon architectures.
"You may be prompted to install Rosetta 2 when you install Mudbox on an Apple Silicon machine," Autodesk noted. "Because the installer is built to run on Intel architectures, Rosetta 2 is required to run the Mudbox installer on Apple Silicon. Once you install Rosetta 2, you will not be prompted to install Rosetta 2 again."
