Xbox users will soon have the opportunity to finally immerse themselves in the magical world of Baldur's Gate 3; the game is coming to the console in December.
Larian Studios promised that we'll hear the exact release date at The Game Awards 2023 on December 7.
The decision to make the announcement there is significant: Baldur's Gate 3 has 8 nominations and high chances to win the Game of the Year award, adding to its already rich pile of prizes from the recent Golden Joystick Awards. Winning a prestigious trophy and dropping the date for the Xbox release would be a very nice touch.
Baldur's Gate 3 was launched for PC on August 3 and for PlayStation 5 on September 6 and quickly became the developer's biggest success. Now only Xbox is left, but, just as director Swen Vincke promised, we'll get the game on the platform before the end of the year. Hopefully, when it's out everywhere, we'll finally get the sales numbers as a Christmas present.
Larian is still diligently working on improving its latest hit RPG. In a recent patch, the team added a color-blind mode and the ability to wash away all the grime from your characters.
