The Bforartists team has presented Bforartists 2, a new version of a Blender add-on that improves Blender's graphical UI and usability. The newest version features a new keymap with just the necessary hotkeys and navigation that can be controlled purely using a mouse, a cleaned-up UI with lots of unnecessary double, triple or even more repeated menu entries removed, and more.

Other improvements:

Extended User Interface. Lots of formerly hotkey only tools have a menu entry now.
Rearranged User Interface.
Colored and as double as many icons than Blender.
A configurable Toolbar with icon buttons.
Improved Layouts.
Left-aligned checkboxes and text where possible.
Better Tooltips.
Better readable standard theme.
Addons to improve usability, like the reset 3D View addon or the Set Dimensions addon with which you can scale in world coordinates in edit mode.
