The developer behind Iron Man VR and République, Camouflaj, announced it opens a new studio called Camouflaj Holdings that will be located in Kamakura, Japan.
The Camouflaj founder Ryan Payton along with Devil May Cry 5 producer Matt Walker will become the co-heads of the new office. Alexander O. Smith who worked on localization for multiple games in the Final Fantasy franchise will also join the team.
"We’re thrilled to be starting a new chapter in Camouflaj’s history with the opening of Camouflaj Holdings here in Japan,” shared Walker. "Our second base here will strengthen our capability to build high quality, meaningful games on a global scale."
Along with the news on the company's expansion, Camouflaj also announced that it will launch République: Anniversary Edition which will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation VR since March 10.
