Cascadeur 2024.2 Will Include Complex Interactions

AutoPhysics just leveled up.

Nekki, the creator of the advanced AI-assisted keyframe animation software Cascadeur, shared new updates on the upcoming release's new features and improved capabilities, focusing on showcasing enhancements to AutoPhysics, highlighting its ability to facilitate complex character interactions.

Back in July, we reviewed some of the upcoming features for Cascadeur 2024.2 as listed on the developer's Trello board, and now there's a video demo for AutoPhysics' enhanced support for pendulum-like animations, such as a character swinging on a horizontal bar:

Other planned updates include support for blendshapes, a motion physics tool for smoothing character rotation and translation by adjusting poses, and various quality-of-life and performance improvements.

Notably, a new feature called "Calculate interpolation only on visible interval" will limit calculations to the currently visible portion of the timeline, making it easier to work with scenes containing thousands of frames.
