Cascadeur 2025.3 Released
Featuring an overhauled Inbetweening system, early Filament renderer support, experimental quadruped rigging, and more.
Cascadeur 2025.3 is now available, bringing further improvements to your animation workflow with updates to Inbetweening and new experimental features for rigging quadrupeds.
This release debuts the integration of Filament, Google's open-source real-time physically based renderer, as the new viewport renderer. Full integration is planned for Cascadeur 2026.1. The renderer delivers improved lighting, shadows, ambient occlusion, and material-based rendering, however, please note that it's highly experimental and currently limited to Windows users through a separate build.
Inbetweening, which automatically generates movements between two key poses, has been completely redesigned and is now part of the Timeline Interpolation system, allowing you to combine Inbetweening and standard interpolation per animation track. Style settings can be adjusted directly from the Timeline context menu for a faster workflow.

AutoPosing and the Quick Rigging Tool now support four-legged characters. The Quick Rigging Tool also adds support for Twist and Untwist bones, which is especially helpful when working with more complex rigs.
