CD Projekt Appoints a New Game Director for Cyberpunk 2077

Gabriel Amatangelo, who previously worked as a Creative Director, is now the leader of Cyberpunk's development.

CDPR has named Gabriel Amatangelo as Cyberpunk 2077's new Game Director. The appointment follows the departure of a former Director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, who has stepped down from the position and left the studio. Amatangelo will be tasked with leading development on CD Projekt's upcoming DLCs, which are currently in development.

Before becoming a part of Cyberpunk's development process, he worked as a Design Director on Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC, as well as Lead Designer on various expansions for Star Wars: The Old Republic.
