Character Creator 5 Adds Non-Linear Facial Movement

Take a closer look at the animation updates.

Reallusion's Character Creator 5 introduces plenty of new features, including a smoother HD character workflow with subdivision support, improved shaders, and a more flexible pipeline. Auto Setup has also been enhanced, making it easier than ever to integrate with tools like Maya and Marmoset Toolbag.

Facial animation, in particular, sees a significant leap forward in CC5. The new HD expression profiles capture fine facial nuances essential for dialogue-rich performances, and a new Constraint System ensures these expressions stay within anatomically accurate limits, preventing unnatural distortion and maintaining realistic facial structure.

Additionally, CC5 brings non-linear facial animation with advanced curve-based controls. This enables the simulation of complex muscle movements, such as sticky lips, elastic puckers, and brows that naturally drop and furrow, adding depth and realism to expressions.

To celebrate the upcoming launch of CC5, Reallusion is running a special prelaunch offer. From now until the official release in July, if you spend $399 or more in a single purchase at the Reallusion Software or Content Store, you'll get Character Creator 5 for free as soon as it drops.
