Check Out Ren & Stimpy Made in Blender

You don't want to see the other side (or maybe you do.)

Artist, designer, and game developer Martin Crownover recreated the main characters of The Ren & Stimpy Show using Blender. The result is great, but maybe the other, invisible side of the render is even more fascinating.

You probably know that sometimes artists have to resort to some tricks to make their projects look perfect for the viewer. As a result, the back side is often full of distortions and ugly angles, and Crownover's project also had to be adjusted so it looked closer to the original.

You also can (can't) see similar approaches in Pixar's Luca, Disney's Encanto, and other animations.
