It is not clear what this fictional device is intended for, but it seems to belong to a sci-fi-inflected world reigned by technology, full of space traveling and cosmic missions. The prop, which probably can be a control panel, might be a part of a futuristic interstellar spaceship, reminiscent of such movies as Alien and Star Wars.

Reijo demonstrated a high level of expertise in hard-surface modeling, creating a lifelike rugged, matte-black metal. The artist has been sharing plenty of tech-inspired short animations, which fascinate with their quality and minimalistic style:
