Check Out This Amazing WIP Mario & Luigi Skating Animation

NooB_B3D shared a lot of technical details of creating the work and showcased its final version.

3D Artist known as NooB_B3D showcased this dynamic WIP animation depicting the beloved Super Mario characters, Mario and Luigi, playfully gliding on roller skates.

The showcased demo is a viewport look. According to the artist, the background elements were rendered separately and then combined with the characters' animation. NooB_B3D noted that if there are different parts that only work separately, then rendering each one by itself and combining them together in post-production is the best way to tackle it.

The artist said that the characters' animation took about four months, and creating the environment took four days. Check out the final version:
