Check Out This Cool Unity Slime Shader

Josué "Dervish" Ortigoza presented a new shader with a mesmerizing effect.

Josué "Dervish" Ortigoza showcased a new Unity shader that adds a slimy effect to an object.

With this shader, you can adjust the material's refraction, noise, view displacement, and transparency. It can be used for slimes, crystals, ice, or any other object that you want to look translucent or have custom refraction. If you place objects inside others that use this material, they will appear distorted, as if something is trapped in ice, for instance.

You can adjust the basic PBR parameters, such as smoothness, metallic, or color with HDR, as well as connect textures. Please note that the shader supports Unity 2021 or superior.

The shader is made with Shader Graph, a tool that enables you to construct shaders easily, as it allows you to create and connect nodes in a graph framework instead of writing code.

Earlier, the artist had already created other fantastic Unity shaders, such as a lava lamp shader, along with a tutorial:

The artist also showcased a mesmerizing jellyfish animation, which was also created in Unity:

A Unity-powered diorama, which was created to test pixel art shaders:
