Check out this gameplay footage of a WIP campaign mod for a Doom II mod Ashes 2063. The upcoming campaign mod is created by a developer known as Roobly.
The project's working title is Kingdom of Ashes, and it features new enemies, weapons, and maps. By "familiar hallway" in the gameplay footage, the creator means a hallway from Half-Life that appeared in the office complex chapter:
The second level of the mod is called Insanatorium and is set in an abandoned hospital, now filled with the new Laughing Tom variants. The map is quite "lengthy," as the creator describes it, as it can take from 30 to 45 minutes. The level features two new enemies. One of them is a crazed crowbar-wielding, once Scavenger, known as Psychclops:
Roobly added moving clouds to the skybox in the mod's locations and pointed out that this feature was missing in the mods that became the base for the campaign project, Ashes 2063 and Ashes: Afterglow.
The creator shared that the mod's demo with 4 new maps might be released in December. It will be available for free on ModDB, similar to Ashes 2063.
