Combat Goddess of Death in This Metroidvania Hack & Slash Game

It's quite an accomplishment for an indie game to garner over 12,000 wishlists on Steam. Well, SoulQuest, the game we're discussing today, has done just that.

Metroidvania gameplay is engaging, and the wealth of Celtic mythology provides a vast array of myths to explore. SoulQuest is a brilliant combination of these two elements.  

In SoulQuest, you play the role of Alys, a woman who won't accept her husband's death as decreed by the gods. Armed with a sword, she sets out on a perilous journey: to reclaim her husband's soul from Morrigan, the goddess of death.

The game offers a deep combat system featuring a variety of attacks, magic abilities, and powerful ultimates. This high-stakes adventure unfolds in a fantasy world deeply rooted in Celtic myths and Arthurian legends.

Apart from the challenging foes and powerful bosses, SoulQuest presents expansive levels loaded with secrets. Alys' abilities for sliding and jumping off vertical surfaces not only aid in exploration but also serve as tactical maneuvers in battle.
