Counter-Strike's Assault Map Recreated With Megascans & UE5

3D Artist Cger has given the familiar map a fresh new look.

Chinese 3D Artist known as Cger has unveiled a cool recreation of the Assault map from Counter-Strike. According to the artist, the goal behind the project was to regain the childhood dream and recreate a familiar map using modern software. The author also commented that this project is still WiP, as the exterior parts of the map are still incomplete. Once the project is finished, Cger plans to release the working process in a form of a small tutorial, so stay tuned.

The scene itself was made using Megascans assets and Unreal Engine 5. To create the lighting similar to the original game, the artist utilized UE5's Lumen tool.
