D5 Render Dev Launched New 3D Asset Marketplace D5 Works
Focused on architectural 3D assets, it charges sellers 0% commission.
Dimension 5, the creator of D5 Render for architectural visualization, has unveiled D5 Works, a new 3D asset platform aimed at professionals in architecture, landscape design, and interior design. The two products are closely integrated, but D5 Works is open to anyone with a free account, allowing users to purchase assets or upload and sell their own content.
A key feature of this marketplace is that it charges 0% commission for sellers. For comparison, other platforms like Superhive usually take at least a 30% cut. While D5 Works is built around D5 Render's native .d5a and .d5m formats, it also supports uploads in common 3D file formats such as .max, .skp, .fbx, .obj, and .3ds to accommodate broader workflows.
Assets undergo manual review before publication to ensure high quality, and contributors must follow a set of guidelines, including providing proof that the model is original. D5 Works currently provides two license options: Personal and Project use.
While D5 Render offers AI features, D5 Works explicitly forbids using the assets for "machine learning or training of neural network models, including generative AI models," unless the creator has given express permission.
Currently, D5 Works offers 42,000 assets. You can check it out here and read the documentation. Subscribe to our Newsletter and join our 80 Level Talent platform, follow us on Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram, and Instagram, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
