Dan Prigg Joins Skydance Media as the Head of Skydance Interactive

Former Discovery executive will take over Skydance's virtual reality and immersive games department overseeing game development, partnerships, and new business opportunities.

Skydance Media best known for its The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners announced that Dan Prigg has joined the company as the head of Skydance Interactive division.

According to the company, Prigg will take responsibility for the division’s overall strategy along with overseeing game development, partnerships, and new business opportunities. Chris Busse who temporarily served as the head of the division will take the position of head of content for Skydance Interactive.

Skydance's COO Jesse Sisgold noted that Prigg is joining the team "at a pivotal moment of growth" bringing his huge experience to help carry the team forward into the next level of interactive entertainment. "Under his leadership, Skydance Interactive aims to expand its operations and game output, further cementing our status as one of the leading VR game studios in the world," he added.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners

Prior to Skydance Interactive, Prigg was vice president of production at Aspyr Media. Previously, he also served as VP of operations at Discovery Kids. Prigg's experience also includes a number of noteworthy companies such as Unity, Scopely, and Gamestop.

The news of Prigg becoming the head of Skydance Interactive comes shortly after the recent two-year anniversary of the studio’s VR title The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners followed by the announcement of the upcoming standalone sequel of the game – Chapter 2: Retribution.
